A REMINDER…SUMMER FUN AT THE HIKE AND BBQ SATURDAY AUGUST 17

Pace: medium.
Terrain: moderate.
Duration: 5- 6 hours (Hike 2-3 hours, followed by supper).
Meet 1:30 PM at Boston Pizza Rear Parking Lot (729 Erie St., Stratford , N4Z 1A1) to car pool to Wildwood Sailing Club.
Travel south on Highway 7. Cross Wildwood Dam and exit from roundabout onto Line 19 south (3rd exit). Turn left onto Wildwood Road. Turn left onto Road 117 to dead end. Access Wildwood Sailing Club through gate on the right. You will be directed to parking on the site (near pavilion at back of property).
We will hike 4 km. east along Wildwood trail towards Boy Scout camp through coniferous forest within views of Wildwood Lake and loop back to the Sailing Club for dinner.
Hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided with condiments. Please bring salad or dessert as well as own beverage. Bring your food in coolers (no electricity on premise). Please bring own plates, cutlery and cups to reduce garbage. Picnic tables onsite as well as some chairs. Donations accepted to cover cost of meal.
Wear appropriate footwear. Hat, insect repellent, and sunscreen recommended.
Note: Wildwood Sailing Club is a private club with sailing enthusiasts. No electricity. Outhouse on premise. You are guests of the
member (Jane Foster) who can provide a tour of the facility.
