SATURDAY MAY 11 – meet up at 8:45am for a 9:00am departure from Giant Tiger 477 Huron Street in Stratford,
The Lobb trail runs through mature woodlots and fields along the Maitland River. There may be a beautiful show of spring wildflowers.
Distance: 7 km loop.
Pace: Medium.
Terrain: Challenging (rolling hills and one steep section).
Duration: 4-5 hrs (1.5 hrs travel, 2.5 hrs hike, possible lunch)
Details: We will carpool approximately 50 minutes, to School House Road and Maitland Line, northwest of Clinton. Please bring water, sunscreen, repellent, and snacks if you need them and dress in sturdy footwear and layered clothing. Optional lunch at Wally’s Burger Bar in Clinton after the hike.
