- Meetings held at the National Trust building and Kiwanis Community Centre
- Photography Hike held in June of 1990
- Club members presented slide shows at meetings of hikes in Kenya and Mount Kilimanjaro, McGregor Point Provincial Park, British Columbia, Bruce Peninsula and New Hampshire
- 1990 Avon Trail Objectives: to stimulate interest in hiking; to establish and maintain trails for hiking; to encourage awareness of the natural environment; to promote the conservation of this environment.“
- Concern for the environment became a leading cause (1990) – “Canada ranked 20th in the world in terms of protected lands as a percentage of our total land base.”
- First End-to-End Hike completed in less than 1 day (22 hours) by Grant Hall and Peter Juknys
- “Trail User’s Code” created
- Newsletters sent out 3 times a year – December/ January, April, August
- 4 General Meetings a year – March, May, September and November
- Goderich – 700 ft. Menesetung Bridge slated for demolition January 1990 – purchased by citizens in June of same year
- Sept.1993 – Avon Trail hosted Hike Ontario AGM
- 20 Year Anniversary celebrated October 1st, 1995 with Hike around Wildwood Lake and a Pig Roast
