 This supported hike is a chance to assist the Avon Trail to fund trail maintenance.  Upon completion each hiker will receive a badge designed specially for this event. Limited spots are available.  By registering you agree to the Wildwood Challenge Terms Of Use

 Distance: 22 km

 Pace: hike at your own pace

 Terrain: moderate

 Duration: should take between 4 and 6 hours depending on walker

Rain or Shine – 75 Spots are available. Once registered, no refund is possible. Avon Trail thanks you for your participation. 

 Meeting time: 8:20 am

 Meeting place: Wildwood Conservation area kiosk, 3995 Line 9, St. Marys, ON

 Hike Route Overview: Hikers will follow the Wildwood Lake trail, counter clockwise, with beautiful woodland walking and lake views.  The route offers two rest stations with snacks and hot drinks.

DROP OUTS: Dropouts from rest stops are possible.  A ride back to your car is offered should you need it.

Recommendations: dress according to the weather and wear good walking shoes/boots, bring a hat and dress in layers. Bring a lunch and bring plenty of water.

Event price: $35.00 per person

Please note: Wildwood charges an $10 parking fee per vehicle (no extra charge for multiple passengers) at the entrance to Wildwood.  This is not covered by the Event fee.

PARTICIPANTS are invited to a 7:00 pm post hike gathering at Bruce’s house in Stratford.
