Join us to celebrate, in style, the 50th Anniversary of the Avon Trail. On Saturday, September 13, we are hosting a gala at the Stratford Country Club. The party includes dinner and a keynote address from Adam Shoalts. A 21st-century explorer, Adam has been described as Canada’s Indiana Jones. Adam has written numerous bestselling books describing his expeditions through Canada’s most remote and untamed wilderness. His latest project, Vanished Beyond the Map, saw him explore Canada’s western Arctic in search of clues to the life and disappearance of an almost-forgotten explorer, Hubert Darrell.
Admission is $85 each. Purchase your admission from the Shop on the Avon Trail website. Enjoy your choice of buffet-style dinner, with a selection of oven-roasted chicken supreme in a white wine reduction cream sauce or sliced roast beef in a red wine jus. Both choices come with oven-roasted potatoes and the Chef’s selection of seasonal vegetables.
Choose your dessert from a selection of pies, cookies and assorted sweets served with coffee and tea.
