This is an Avon Trail fundraiser event. The $35 registration fee proceeds go towards material costs to construct and maintain our footpaths, trail signage, and bridges throughout the entire 124-kilometre trail.
Hikers will walk at their own pace following the Wildwood Lake circuit, a 22-km woodland trail of great natural appeal. Remember, your reward for completing the hike is your Wildwood Challenge badge. Wear it proudly.
The Wildwood trail is well-maintained and well-marked but can be moderately challenging in places.
Registration will open on the Avon Trail website at Noon Wednesday, September 14. (See avontrail.ca/shop to register).

- Registration is not completed until the waiver form has been received.
This Challenge Features:
- Each participant will receive a map and emergency whistle on October 22th.
- Two refreshment stands with shelter will be set up over the route.
- A drop-out ride back is possible at each refreshment stand.
- Upon completion, each participant will receive a badge.
- Recommendations: Bring water and lunch. Wear appropriate footwear for trail hiking. Dress in layers suitable for the weather. Medium pace, this should take 6 hours, not counting rest stops. Sorry, no refunds are possible.
End of Day: Drinks and finger food at a local Stratford home at 7:00 pm October 22
