Trail Users Code

As a member of the Avon Trail Association, or as an Avon Trail user, I agree to the following rules:

 No motorized vehicles or bicycles unless specifically authorized by the landowner.
 Hike only along marked routes. Do not take shortcuts.
 Do not climb fences or open gates; use the stiles.
 Respect the privacy of the people living along the trail.
 Leave flowers and plants for others to enjoy. Protect trees and shrubs. Never strip off
bark. No foraging.
 Protect and do not disturb wildlife or farm animals. Do not feed them.
 Always keep dogs on leash.
 Carry out litter.
 No camping or fires are permitted.
 Use the trail at my own risk.
 Leave only footprints, take only photographs.
 Be kind and courteous to other trail users.
 Be prepared for conditions on the trail.

Failure to follow these rules could result in cancellation of membership with no refund.
By joining the Avon Trail Association, members agree that their name may be shared within the
organization for Avon Trail Association business.
