Meet Up Location: Meet at the trail head. Driving from Stratford, cross over the first railway crossing. The trail head is about 200 m east on Forest Rd. past the railway crossing, km 45.8 on the Trail Guide.

Departure Time is 3:30 pm Sharp. 

Terrain: Moderate

Pace: Medium – 3 – 4 km per hour

Details:  Snowshoe the Forest Rd./McCarthy Trail – about 2KM there and back.  This lovely trail starts in the forest and emerges into a copse running between two fields, affording some shelter. Snow drifts may be quite deep.
