Duration: 4 hours (includes travel time) BBQ to follow optional.

This hike is meant to be social. A Barbeque will follow in Grand Bend for lunch at a member’s cottage. Details to follow.

Meet at 9:30 am in the conservation area south of Morrison Dam just east of Exeter, on Morrison Line, south of 83.

Hike Route Overview

This trail loop winds through the scenic Ausable River Valley and combines the   McNaughton-Morrison Trail and Morrison Conservation Area, scenic hardwood and pine forests, the Ausable River and Morrison Lake. Outhouses are located at the trailhead.

Recommendations:

Bring a snack, water, insect repellent or bug gear. Please wear appropriate footwear (hiking boots/shoes or running shoes).
