In preparation for the Avon Trail’s 3-day marathon of 20+km hikes to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee (Sept. 3,4,5), Bruce will be leading a series of increasingly challenging distance hikes over the summer. This is the first!

Terrain: Easy
Pace: Medium
Duration: 5.5 hours Rain or Shine
Meeting: Allman Arena in Stratford at 8:15 for sign in. Departure at 8:30 sharp.  Return to Stratford by 2:30 pm
Carpooling possible but not guaranteed
Hike route overview: We will drive to Millbank and walk west along the old rail line.  We will pass through verdant farmland.  Out and back trail.
Recommendations: pack a lunch, wear good walking shoes/boots, bring a hat, sunscreen and repellant.  Always bring water.
