Details:  Depart from William Allman Arena, 9 am to car pool to Km 51.1 on Road 109. Park on Road 109 north of Line 37. Walk includes the ‘Tunnel of Love’, cedar bush boardwalk and mature hardwood forest.
Notes and photo-taking encouraged.
Guest flora expert Brenda Gallagher of the UTRCA will lead hikers through boardwalk section to study species common to this swampy cedar area, ie. purple orchid, marsh marigolds and other varieties.
Prepare for wet areas and bring insect repellent, water and snack.
Coffee time following at Lynn River Store, 2529 Line 37.
