This hike will descend into the Mad River Valley, up the ski hill and form a loop with the Mad River Side Trail. If we have time and interest, we will check out the Singhampton Caves nearby.
The Seven Rivers hike series covers seven rivers over three Bruce Trail Sections: (3) Blue Mountains, Dufferin-HyLand(2), and Caledon Hills (2). From Pretty River in the north, to the Humber River further south, plus a few others in between, we will explore ‘Headwaters’ and learn all about watersheds and where and why they flow where they do!
