Nicola Ross, author of “Loops and Lattes” series of hiking books, is also a prolific blogger. Nicola has been a guest speaker at the Avon Trail AGM in the past.

As reported earlier, What’s Not to Hike is her blog. It makes for a great read. One post authored by Linda Pim describe hiking experiences in Southern Pategonia. Two  other posts describe hiking experiences in Mexico; one at sea level on the beach at La Manzanilla; the other, at higher elevation in Patzcuaro.

Because of COVID-19, hiking  at this time in Pategonia and in Mexico is not possible. Sheltering in place to keep others safe is a practice we follow until such time that the virus is abated or a vaccine is available for everyone. Until then we can enjoy these hiking adventures through the stories  waiting here.
