Leaving the arena parking lot\, the drivers will take road 37 (Vivian Lane) east to Road 110. Here they will turn south (right)\, travel south of the bridge and Avon River and park on the west side. The ramble will proceed east on the trail to Lynn River Farm and return  -3.1 km each way. The grass has been cut on this section recently. We need boots on the ground. \nCoffee time follows.

DESCRIPTION:Meet Up Location: Allman Arena north parking lot off Lakeside Drive at Morenz Dr \nDeparture Time is 9:00 am Sharp.  Please arrive early to receive instructions and directions. \nTerrain: varies from easy to strenuous. \nPace: Medium – 3 – 4 km per  \nDETAILS: \n1) We meet in the parking lot of the Allman Arena on Lakeside Drive at 8:55 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. departure. \n2) We’ll dive north on Mornington Road. At the 33 we’ll turn right and go through Amulree\, then we’ll turn left onto the 106\, the first road after Amulree.\nAfter about 0.5 km we’ll reach the traihead. Parking is on the right/east side of the road. We’ll then hike west to the 107 and back. The hike will be about 1 1/2 hours.\nThe trail is mostly dry and I did not experience any mosquitos\, only butterflies. \n3) If you have any questions or want to meet us at the trailhead\, please contact me at rolandplum504@gmail.com. \nRoland \n

The hike will be on a trail off Hwy 119 north just past Brunner. You will see a gravel parking lot to the right.  Once parked\, we will hike a well graveled\, linear trail traveling north  through fields\, bush and swamp. This is an easy trail\, and hopefully\, mud free. \nTerrain: varies from easy to strenuous. \nPace: Medium – 3 – 4 km per hour \nDetails: Hike is approximately 1.5 hours\, usually on Avon Trail.  Hike location is determined by the hike leader or group.  Coffee time follows.

The current forecast is for high winds and light rain. The trail is in early spring condition – muddy and wet in places. Hikers with hiking poles who are comfortable using them may wish to bring them on the ramble\, as the trail is hilly in sections. We as a group will be leaving the Allman Arena at 9:00 am and arriving at the start point by 9:20 am. \n Hike is approximately 1.5 hours.  Coffee time follows.
