The trail passes through Beachville\, 35 minute drive. \n Today’s  ramble will be led by Tracy. We will carpool to the start and park at the Trail Head and park at the far end of the parking lot. We will hike for 6km on this easy trail. Please\, remember to bring water to drink.  Coffee time follows at Kintore Coffee Company\, 117 Huron Street\, Embro. \nHere are directions to the Trail Head: Turn left out of parking lot on to Lakeside drive which becomes Veterans Drive after the first set of lights. At the second set of lights go straight onto Erie Street. Continue to fourth set of lights which is Embro Road (113) and turn left. Continue for approx.. 31 km\, past the first round-a-bout until the next road\, Rd. 66 and turn left. Turn right at 41 st\nLine which becomes Domtar Line. Parking lot is on the left shortly after the railroad track (this is an active RR).

Leaving the arena parking lot\, the drivers will take road 37 (Vivian Lane) east to Road 110. Here they will turn south (right)\, travel south of the bridge and Avon River and park on the west side. The ramble will proceed east on the trail to Lynn River Farm and return  -3.1 km each way. The grass has been cut on this section recently. We need boots on the ground. \nCoffee time follows.

We leave the Allman Arena by carpool travelling to the Mitchell area. Rose will lead the hike along trails of the West Perth wetlands on the south of Mitchell. Binoculars would be a great asset to bring along. The trails are flat\, linear and grassy. We will visit the Demonstration Forest seen from Highway 8. These native trees were planted in 2013. Hikers are in for a special treat.  Bruce will follow the  newly  built trail connecting from Periwinkle towards Road 112 through the Harmony Loop. PLEASE NOTE PARKING ON LINE 20 IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. CARPOOLING MUST BE FOLLOWED. \n Coffee time follows.
