DESCRIPTION:Meet Up Location: Allman Arena north parking lot off Lakeside Drive at Morenz Dr \nDeparture Time is 9:00 am Sharp.  Please arrive early to receive instructions and directions. \nTerrain: varies from easy to strenuous. \nPace: Medium – 3 – 4 km per hour \nDetails: \nLeader:  Tracy  \nLocation and details:  Carmeuse Limestone Valley trail\, 414725 Domtar Line\, Ingersoll\, Ontario.  Even though the address says Ingersoll\, the trail passes through Beachville.  35 minute drive.  \nWe will hike for 6 km on this easy trail followed by optional coffee at Kintore Coffee Company at 117 Huron Street\, Embro\, Ontario.    \nMeet at the Arena for 8:45am\, and carpool to the start (or you are welcome to meet at the trail head).     \nPlease wear your mask while carpooling as Covid is rampant right now\, and also please bring a change of footwear for the coffee house.    \nHere are the directions from the arena:  \n turn left out of parking lot on to Lakeside drive which becomes Veterans Drive after the first set of lights.  At the second set of lights go straight onto Erie Street.   Continue to fourth set of lights which is Embro Road (113) and turn left.  Continue for approx.. 31 km\, past the first round-a-bout until the next road\, Rd. 66 and turn left.  Turn right at 41st Line which becomes Domtar Line.  Parking lot is on the left shortly after the railroad track (this is an active RR).  Park at the far end of parking lot so we enter through the south entrance.   Note:  Rd. 66 & 41st Line are gravel roads.

All spots are full. \nDistance: 22 km \nPace: Hike at your own pace \nTerrain: Moderate \nDuration: Should take between 4 and 6 hours depending on the hiker \nRain or Shine \nMeeting Time: 8:20 am \nMeeting Place: Wildwood Conservation Area kiosk\, 3995 Line 9\, St. Marys\, ON \nHike Route Overview: Hikers will follow the Wildwood Trail with beautiful woodland walking and lake views. The route offers two rest stations with snacks and hot drinks. \nDROP OUTS: Drop outs from rest stops are possible. A ride back to your car is offered should you need it. \nRecommendations: Dress according to the weather and wear good walking shoes/boots\, bring a hat and dress in layers. Bring lunch and bring plenty of water. \nEvent Price: $35 per person \nPlease Note: Wildwood is now charging an $8 parking fee per vehicle (no extra charge for multiple passengers) at the entrance to Wildwood. As Hullett is a wildlife area\, participant numbers are limited to 12. Please RVSP if attending. \nMEETING: Giant Tiger parking lot on Huron Ave. in Stratford at 8:00 am to carpool or at the parking lot at the trail head located 81044 Wildlife Line\, Central Huron\, northeast of Clinton\, between 8:45 and 9:00 am. \nHIKE ROUTE: Moderately rolling terrain consisting of deciduous trees and meadows. Exceptionally beautiful. \nRECOMMENDATIONS: Please bring snacks if you need them\, water\, insect repellant and sunscreen for protection. The Freeze King in Seaforth is a nice spot for a post hike burger or ice-cream treat. \n  \n  \n
