DESCRIPTION:In preparation for the Avon Trail’s 3-day marathon of 20+km hikes to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee (Sept. 3\,4\,5)\, Bruce will be leading a series of increasingly challenging distance hikes over the summer. \n Distance: 14 km\nTerrain: Easy\nPace: Medium\nDuration: 5.5 hours Rain or Shine\nMeeting: Allman Arena in Stratford at 8:15 for sign in. Departure at 8:30 sharp.  Return to Stratford by 2:30 pm\nCarpooling possible but not guaranteed\nHike route overview: we will drive to Hickson and walk south along the old rail line.  We will pass through verdant farmland.  Out and back trail.\nRecommendations: pack a lunch\, wear good walking shoes/boots\, bring a hat\, sunscreen and repellant.  Always bring water. \nREGISTRATION REQUIRED: contact hike leader Bruce to register or for more information\n                                                               Bruce email: brucedgraham@gmail.com
