We will then take the first left after Amulree onto 106. After about a kilometer we’ll park on the right side of the road (Avontrail kilometer 68.5). We’ll walk west to road 107 and back. We leave the Allman Arena by carpool travelling to the Mitchell area. Rose will lead the hike along trails of the West Perth wetlands on the south of Mitchell. Binoculars would be a great asset to bring along. The trails are flat\, linear and grassy. We will visit the Demonstration Forest seen from Highway 8. These native trees were planted in 2013. At the 33 we’ll turn right and go through Amulree\, then we’ll turn left onto the 106\, the first road after Amulree.\nAfter about 0.5 km we’ll reach the traihead. Parking is on the right/east side of the road. We’ll then hike west to the 107 and back. DESCRIPTION:Meet Up Location: Allman Arena north parking lot off Lakeside Drive at Morenz Dr \nDeparture Time is 9:00 am Sharp.  Please arrive early to receive instructions and directions. \nTerrain: varies from easy to strenuous. \nPace: Medium – 3 – 4 km per hour \nDetails: \nLeader:  Tracy  \nLocation and details:  Carmeuse Limestone Valley trail\, 414725 Domtar Line\, Ingersoll\, Ontario.  Even though the address says Ingersoll\, the trail passes through Beachville.  35 minute drive.  \nWe will hike for 6 km on this easy trail followed by optional coffee at Kintore Coffee Company at 117 Huron Street\, Embro\, Ontario.    \nMeet at the Arena for 8:45am\, and carpool to the start (or you are welcome to meet at the trail head).     \nPlease wear your mask while carpooling as Covid is rampant right now\, and also please bring a change of footwear for the coffee house.    \nHere are the directions from the arena:  \n turn left out of parking lot on to Lakeside drive which becomes Veterans Drive after the first set of lights.  At the second set of lights go straight onto Erie Street.   Continue to fourth set of lights which is Embro Road (113) and turn left.  Continue for approx.. 31 km\, past the first round-a-bout until the next road\, Rd. 66 and turn left.  Turn right at 41st Line which becomes Domtar Line.  Parking lot is on the left shortly after the railroad track (this is an active RR).  Park at the far end of parking lot so we enter through the south entrance.   Note:  Rd. 66 & 41st Line are gravel roads.
